The mission of the church.
The church was founded and isowned by Jesus Christ—“I will build My church” (Matthew16:18)—and directed and energized by the Holy Spirit (1Corinthians 10:17; 12:5–27; Romans12:4–5). Therefore, our joy is to look to God to explain His design for the church and Hismission for it. God’s mission for the church proves to have several parts.
Our Mission is to empower families and peoplewith the Power of the Word Of God. We believe that the word of God is powerful enough to change people’s lives and toprovidehope for those that are in need. Our Mission is to speak the word of God as it is.
Lead Pastor
My name is Joe Tavares, son of Jose Tavares M. Inacio and Maria D. Salvador, born in Luanda,Angola. I grew up in Luanda,in Neves Bendinha neighborhood.
Pastor Joe did the Primary school at São João of Luanda and the Secondary school at620; Hedid the High School at “Instituto de Economia do Kilamba Kiaxi”. And has a B. A in Economicsand Management atthe University Jean Piaget of Angola.
Pastor Joe Tavares moved to the United States in 2016, he is married to Sister MariaTavaresand they have three kids.
Pastor Joe was ordained Pastor through the council of Assemblies of God in the UnitedStatesand resides with his family in Sanford, Maine.
Joe Tavares has a Master of Leadership from Liberty University and isworking on his doctoraldegree in Strategic Management also through Liberty University. My passion is to preach theword ofGod, we believe that Jesus has the power to change people’s life.
